Chalkos Beach Kythira: Chalkos is a small beach situated on the southeastern coast of the island of Kythira. Chalkos beach is accessible via an irregular trail leading down from Chora-Kalamos route.

Chalkos beach is fairly windy with the wind blowing from the north making it a fabulous spot to spend time and enjoy the holiday season. The length of Chalkos beach is roughly 200 metres and its width about 20 metres. It is a typical sand and shingle beach with fine gradient adding to its magnetic.

Chalkos beach is swarming with visitors during the peak summer season and is best suited to those who would like to mingle with the crowd.
