ADELE beach in RETHYMNO (KRITI)
| A beautiful very long beach with sand and peebles. The north coast of Rethymno is a long sand strip that stretches for about 20 km. The north coast it is not protected at all from the strong north winds (meltemia) that prevail in the summer. Here, about 5 km from the Rethymno main town is the hospitable beach of Adelianos Kampos. Known as Adele beach, it is a popular destination among family travelers. The beach is very popular however you can easily find a private secluded area or else sit at the chairs and parasols erected in front the taverns and bars lined on the main strip. |
