Gialtra is a settlement by a sandy beach with tavernas and cafes having views towards Aedipsos. The beach is found left to the little port. Gialtra is also called Loutra Gialtron, which means Hot Springs of Gialtra, due to the hot springs that are found there. It is close to Aedipsos which is much more popular for its hot springs. Gialtra is a relatively new settlement.
