KALAMAKI beach in SKIATHOS
| Kalamaki has gentle bays and soft sands. The best part of the beach is that the water is crystal clear. 5 kilometers from Hora (Skiathos town); your can use the bus (stop 12,13 plus a couple of kilometers walking) or car & taxis. Almost private since some villas are around... of course sandy and quiet... Very close to Kanapitsa beach (you can reach it also with water taxi/bus). There are a few villas and hotels here, all of them offer not only classy accommodation but also breathtaking views of the azure blue sea. Try to coincide your trip to the Kalamaki peninsular area on a moonlit summer night. The experience can be surreal and fantastic. Only a small part of the road is concreted so traffic using it usually belongs to the villas, so maintaining a peaceful environment. |
