MOUROS beach in AMORGOS

An amazing small pebble beach with impressive waters, on the southwest part of the island about 15 km from Chora situated near the villages of Arkesini and Kamari. It is considered one of the best beaches on the island. There are two caves in the water on the right hand side as you walk down to the beach, which you can swim into. You can go there by car up to a point and then follow a long path for about 10 minutes, down to the beach. On the hill there is a cafe-restaurant. It is better to buy water and food before you go down to the beach because the cafe is not very close.
