A long sandy beach found in front of the homonymous small tourist resort within a natural environment of luxurious green, an excellent sea and very interesting scenic features. Well organized, sandy in its major part, and pebbly at spots. Impressive groups of rocks seem to divide the beach in smaller parts, one of these groups of rock, named Ortholithi, is found within the sea, a very interesting theme for photographs. Offers facilities, sun beds, umbrellas, sea sports. There is also a small diving center at the beach, both for the “freshers” and for the more experts. Access from the capital (Kerkyra, 19 kilometers) is possible by rented or private means but there is also connection by public bus (the green ones), with regular service. You may always use a taxi.

Agios Gordios gets very crowded during high season because of its proximity to the popular Pink Palace Hotel. Therefore it is hard to find a palking space..
