ATOKOS ISLET in IONIO (ITHAKI) ^Featured

One of the most popular spots for boaters is the impressive bay found in the eastern coast of Atokos islet.The view as you approach with your boat is quite dramatic: The "green" covered mountainside slopes steep down, right into the bay. The white rocks also go straight down into the sea. The bay has a small peebly beach with marvelous transparent turquoise waters! Atokos is an aninhabited islet at the northwest of Ithaki island (38°29'17" N 20°48'47" E). All around it has spots with turquoise or emerald green water.
