Kastos is a very tranquil isolated island with only 35 permanent habitants who live in a very slow and simple pace. It has a small but picturesque fishing village which is also its main port. You may swim in the whole area of the port since the waters are nice and clean. The port has new quay that has been built in 2001. Still there is some space to anchor, which is nicer because you will enjoy the beautuful sea. There is a lot of weed in the harbour and the holding is not good. Therefore it is important to put your anchor out, as far away from the quay, as possible.
