A beautiful sandy beach located in the middle of the eastern coast - at the narrowest point of the island- in the sonamed bay. A marina is constructed but it is not very convinient for many reasons. It is a reason that the once unspoiled landscape has been spoiled and because of that many people avoid visiting Achili beach for swimming. However it is a good anchorage, especialy when west winds prevail.

 Achili is the point from where the mythic hero Achilles left for Troy. In the region you will find hotels and rooms to let. There is the small chapel of Agios Nikolaos that is well worth visiting.
Another chapel worth mentioning is that of Prophet Elias, which is located on the top of the mountain.
