The longest beach on the island of Rhodes with peebles, sand and sparkling clear waters. This extremely long and large beach is located 22 kilometres south-east from the City of Rhodes, in front of the so named illage of the same name. Visitors can practice golf at the golf course of the village.

Maintained and  cared for by the local community, it is always nice and clean. On the beach you will find Sun beds, Umbrellas, a variety of Snack Bars, Fish Tavernas and Restaurants that will serve a variety of Greek and International dishes.

The crystal clear waters of Afandou bay, in combination with the superb pebbly beach and the Afandou Golf course, attract thousands of visitors from Greece, Europe and many other countries. It is totally open and it is not possible to anchor.
