GLYFA (STENI VALA) beach in ALONISSOS

Glyfa is nice long beach with sand, peebles and green surroundings. There are a couple of tavernas on the beach and you may also find water sports facilities, but usually it is not overcrowded. It is near the cute little fishing village of Steni Vala - a popular destination for boaters - (see separate listing), at the southeastern coast, 15 km from Patitiri (port). In Steni Vala there is a small port (dock) suitable for small and medium sized boats. You may also fond hotels, tavernas, mini markets and a camp site. There is a bus service from Patitiri to this beach and the journey takes about 20 minutes.
