Kalamakia is a little fishing harbour, with a small and not so attractive beach. However it is a popular destination due to its nice waterside tavernas - owned by fishermen - that serve fresh fish and lobster. We recommend that you swim in the beautiful Agios Dimitrios beach which is quite close (see separate listing) and you eat in Kalamakia.

There is also a little dock where small boats can moor.

It is located in the southern coast, 12km from Patitiri and is very small and quite with no many things to do (other than enjoying eating). It is quite new, with not many rooms to let or other facilities.

There is no bus to Kalamakia from Patitiri, so to get there you must either by your boat or take a taxi or use your own transporation.
