Kefalos Beach Kos: The beach of Kefalos is lying in front of the settlement of the same name, 43 kilometres from the capital of the island.This beach has the coldest, yet truly crystalline, waters of the island of Kos. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Kos and its most famous. Along the soft sand, many taverns are lining, offering fresh fish.
Sun beds, umbrellas and water sports are available at Kefalos. The fine Monastery of Agios Nikolaos is located at a very short distance to Kefalos. A plethora of accommodations is available.
