Holidays to Laganas Zakynthos: The huge beach of Laganas, Zante, is the most popular and developed beach of Zakynthos. Laganas bay is a 9 kilometres long sandy beach situated 11 kilometres south of the capital of the island and has beautiful crystal-clear waters.

Sun beds and umbrellas are covering the golden sand and many water sports facilities are offered to visitors. Various beach bars, snack bars and taverns can be found around the beach.

Laganas Beach is protected by the Greek and international legislation as a birthplace of the endangered specie of sea turtle Caretta-Caretta and is part of the Greek National Marine Park.

The little pine-clad islet of Agios Sostis, located opposite the beach of Laganas, can be reached by a lovely wooden bridge.

The main road of Laganas is boarded by many restaurants, bars and touristy shops and, behind the road, various luxurious hotels with swimming pools and many other facilities can be found.
Laganas nightlife is also very active. There is a large choice of bar & nightclubs there.
