Lefto Gialo beach has pure white sand with peebles and crystalline turquoise waters. The verdant trees surround it makes its one of the best beaches in Alonissos. It is quite spacious and organised with sun beds and umbrellas. At the back there is a valley with old olive trees and in both sides the pineforest stops a few meters from the sea. It has a very small dock for boats. However at the high season, tourist boats full of tourists come form Patitiri (port), from Skiathos and Skopelos islands and suddenly the beach becomes overcrowded.

It has two nice tavernas on the beach, from which the view is excellent. However they spoil (although they are quite nice buildings) a little bit the unique beauty of the beach. Therefore we rate the beach only with 3 stars, whereas if the landscape was more unspoiled we would definately rate it with 4 stars.

Lefto Yialo is the last beach that is found in the cluster of relatively near beaches with Patitiri-Roysoym-Votsi, located at 6 km from Patitiri (port), or 30 minutes by caique. The street to the beach is asphalt road and it leads up to under the sea. You can park in the parking spaces of the two restaurants that exist in the beach.

The beach is very interesting for snorkelling as there are huge slices of stones at the sea bottom.
