MAKRYS GIALOS in ZAKYNTHOS

A beautiful peeble -medium size - beach located at the northeastern coast of the island, 25 klm from Zakynthos town. 
It is organosed with sunbeds and umbrellas. The nearest resort is Volimes and belongs to Municipality of Elation
Other nearby beaches: Xigia, Aghios Nicolaos in Volimes.

Makrys Gialos is a small beach, in comparison with the other large beaches, with crystal deep waters.
The wild beauty of the surroundings makes this beach extremenely impressive.
In the tall waterworn rocks, small caves have been formed.

In the top of a cliff that stands above the beach, we can rest and eat in the small tavern that offers traditional greek dishes.
A diving school is also found nearby.
