Stafylos is one the most popular beaches in Skopelos, usually crowded, because it is only a few kilometers away from Skopelos town. However it is very beautiful, sandy at its most parts and backed by the lush of a beautiful pine forest that almost grow down to the water's edge. Small private boats are often moored in the bay as the water is very calm and clear with nice blue colour. The whole landscape is marvelous for mooring and for swimming or sunbathing! There are many facilities available on or near the beach, including: sun beds, parasols and a beach bar.

It has lifeguard and a parking that you might need to pay 2-4 euros all day otherwise you may leave your car few meters higher. The bus stop is 300m higher and you have to walk down to the beach. On the road to the beach there is a taverna with stunning views. The beautiful and no so crowded Velanio beach is a few minutes walk from Stafylos (see separate listing)
