The all-aluminium 52.9-metre Piuma, in build at Admiral, boasts hybrid propulsion, with twin 1,800hp MAN engines supplemented by two 150kW electric motors. Listed with Michael Chryssicopoulos and Kevin Bonnie at IYC, she has an asking price of €24.9 million. “Piuma is one of the few real hybrid yachts, and is designed with a charter-owner in mind, and she features a touch-and-go helipad. This is an exciting opportunity for a 2018 delivery, a unique opportunity to buy a 499GT 53-metre hybrid yacht available in just 19 months,” the brokers say.
Built to RINA class and LY2 compliant, Piuma’s exterior was created by Gian Marco Campanino of Admiral’s in-house team. The interior is yet to be decided, and Admiral’s in-house team have created two different contemporary styles, shown in the renderings. She features a master cabin on the main deck, and a full-beam VIP cabin and four guest cabins on the lower deck, with accommodation that is designed to be flexible for charter parties. She accommodates 13 guests and 12 crew.
The outdoor spaces are equally flexible, with a Jacuzzi on the sundeck and touch-and-go heli-operations accommodated on the foredeck. The raised foredeck is also used as a guest sunbathing area.
Under diesel power, Piuma cruises at 17 knots with a maximum speed of 18.5 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles. For more, visit iyc.com.
