Launched in 2010 at Bilgin Yachts, the 37-metre Tee-Dje has been extensively refitted over the winter
The 37-metre Bilgin Tee-Dje, which launched in 2010, has been back at the yard since October for extensive winter work. The refitted yacht was scheduled for delivery back to her owner in April but she is already near completion and ready to be handed over ahead of schedule this month.
A team of 40 Bilgin craftsmen have been working on the refit project. “Since the owners are very happy with her interior and exterior design, they wanted to keep the design as it is but refresh the yacht with woodwork maintenance and hardware upgrades,” the yard says. The yachts interior was designed by H2 Yacht Design. New systems have been installed as well as new navigation and entertainment systems, and new TVs throughout. The engineroom was reconditioned, and all the interior fabrics were replaced with like-for-like or upgraded. “If the product line no longer existed, it was reproduced specifically for Tee-Dje. The 2010 model motor yacht was turned into a 2017 model vessel,” the yard says.
Tee-Dje has a cold-moulded wood/epoxy hull and superstructure, and is built with MCA and RINA compliance. She sleeps eight guests in four cabins, including a master suite, with guests looked after by six crew. The Bilgin Tee-Dje is capable of a 21-knot top speed, with a cruising speed of 16 knots.
