New Arcadia A100 revealed

The 31-metre superyacht Aria S is the latest from the Italian yard.

A100

The A100 is built from

GRP, has a gross tonnage of a little over 200 and features the brand’s signature solar panels.

New generation photovoltaic cells are integrated into the exterior and interior surfaces of the double- glazed panels fitted to the superstructure. 50 square metres of solar panels provide enough power to drive most equipment and electrical appliances, such as fridges, water pump, WCs, lights, A/V, electronics, whilst the batteries recharge. All of the energy requirements when the yacht is at anchor are met with the exception of air conditioning and the induction hob in the galley. The result is a saving on fuel, less pollution and improved onboard comfort thanks to the drop in noise and vibration levels and absence of emissions.

Aria S has a five cabin layout, with the master forward on the main deck. Full height windows and a glazed roof mean that the owner can enjoy an 180 degree vista and the view of the night sky all from the comfort of his bed. On the lower deck is a 35 square metre VIP cabin, with an office and lounge area, that can be split into two cabins if required thanks to a sliding bulkhead. The yard also offers a choice of various other four and five cabin layouts to suit owner requirements.

The main deck is home also to a salon and dining area and a further family room. The large amount of on board space includes over 50 square metres of sliding doors along its length, allowing guests to enjoy the elements. There is a garage on the lower deck which is capable of holding a 4.45-metre tender and various water toys.

Aria S has twin 1,000 horsepower Man V8s, which gives a top speed of around 18 knots and cruises at 16. At 14 knots, fuel consumption drops to 150 litres/h, falling to a mere 50 litres/h at 10 knots.
