GLOSSA beach in SKOPELOS
The beach of Glossa is peebled and quite steep and is located 25km to the north-west of Skopelos town. The trip by car or bus takes approximately 45 minutes, through a mountainous area. It is not a highly developed tourist resort but known for its beauty and tranquility.
You may find all the necessary facilities in the nearby town of Glossa (the 2nd largest of the island) or Loutraki (port), 2 km away. You may also see the ruins of the ancient town of Selinus close to the beach.
Glossa is shaped like an amphitheatre and cascades down the hilltop with its traditional houses. Hardly touched by tourism, this sleepy town has a handful of shops.
