KAMARES (KAMARIES) beach in LIPSI (LEIPSI)
The highlight of the area is the dramatic rocky setting. The beach (axp 100 meteres long) is also stony with crystal clear waters, which are attractive and transparent when the sea is calm. However, it is often wavy, because it is very open to the the north winds that are usual in the summer.
The area does not have something else, besides some nice trees for shade. and a couple of small coves. However it is found opposite the paradise Aspronisi islet's beach, so if the weather is calm and you have a boat, a short trip to/from Aspronisi would worth it.
Needless to say that the beach is often empty and nudists are often met there.
If you don't use a private boat (which not very easy if the weather not calm), it will take you about 45 min to get there on foot. The easiest way is to take the road past the school (out Lipsi Town). Then turn right at the junction to the main road and reach a track leading right to a shed. You will see an isolated chapel and Aspronissi in front of you and a track leading you to the beach.
