Scorpios is the private "paradise island" of the world known Greek tycoon Aristotelis Onassis, husband of Jacky Kennedy - Onassis and lover of Maria Kallas. Scorpios is full of green trees and beautiful flowers and surrounded by emerald green crystal waters. Visitors are not aloud on it but they can swim around it in its beautiful green sea. They can aproach it either by private boat or by the boats that organise daily cruises. Visiting Scorpios is a must in case you visit Lefkada.

Its waters are usually calm since it is located in the eastern side of Lefkada, above Meganisi.

The best anchorages which are also marvelous spots for swimming are: The northern beach - islands dock and the south-eastern beach where the Onassis taverna and guest houses are located. The island is very small you may go around it and choose the location that you prefer for anchoring, acording to the prevailing wind.
