The yacht took 23 months to build at the Turkish yard.
Turkish yard Bilgin has announced the launch
of 48-metre Nerissa, just two years after build started. Unique Yacht Design was responsible for her exterior lines while H2 Yacht Design did the interior spaces.
The graceful exterior design is on a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with the full-displacement yacht coming in at 499 GRT. She is expected to have a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed.
Although most system trials have been performed in the shed, the yacht still has to undergo sea trials, final fit-out and commissioning, which is expected to take around a month. The yacht will remain at the dock until this is completed, before heading off to the south of France. Nerissa will be available for viewing at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
