Pershing's new flagship 42-metre finds a buyer after concept was unveiled last year

Launching in 2018, the first 42-metre all-aluminium Pershing 140 will pack in four 1,940kW MTU 4000 M93Ls driving waterjets – the yard is expecting a top speed of 38 knots. Designer Fulvio De Simoni has retained the coupé feel of the smaller Pershing family members, and there are, of course, cagier engine options for more sedate owners.

The guest spaces are extensive, with opening platforms creating a magnificent beach club. Guests will also love to explore the upper deck and sundeck, and the expansive sunbathing and swimming area forward.

 “This new flagship Pershing 140 shows above all that the yard has entered a new era of design and construction, combining the drive for innovation – written into its DNA from birth – with the know-how gained during 30 years of being on the cutting edge,” says Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group chief executive officer.
