SPATHI beach & anchorage in KEA (TZIA) ^Featured

Spathi is one of the favourite beaches in Kea, lying in a quite remote and unspoiled cycladian bay. It is sandy, not organised and has transparent blue-green waters. It is located at the S/E coast of Kea, apx 14km from Ioulida (Town),and does not get very crowded. There are a few houses in the area and a few trees for shade, but there are no other facilities near by. Avoid Spathi with south, southeast winds.

If you go to Spathi by car, it is worth to visit Panagia Kastriani Monastery, (Kastri Bay) which is found quite close and offers imposing sea views.

Next to Spathi are found the beautiful Kalydonychi, Sykamia, Psathi and Orkos beaches.

ANCHORAGE INFO: Offers quite good shelter mainly from W, N/W, N. Not protected from E, S/E, S. Beautiful beach and landscape. No facilities near by.
