Pefki beach is long (about 5kms) with peebles and quite clean water. It is located in the sonamed coastal settlement of North Evia, close to Istiaia, opposite gulf Pagasitikos (Pelion). It is organised with many facilities such as umbrellas, sun beds, beach volley etc. On the beach one may also fing many tavernas, ouzo bars, pizzerias and cafes. It is a very popoular beach since there are many rooms to let and a camping in the area.....The settlement of Pefki belongs to Artemision Municipality, it has many visitors and is surrounded by pine-trees (its name means pine tree) that extends on its long beach. It is the ideal destination for having family holidays but the area gets very crowded during high season......However the beach is very long so it is possible to find some less crowded spots.......Pefki is also a harbour. It has scheduled connections with boats and hydrophols with the city of Volos in Magnesia and the Sporades islands (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos). Most of them operate only in the summer.
