TRIPOVRACHOS beach in KARYSTOS (SOUTH EVIA)
Starting from Karystos we head east and after the village of Aetos we take the right hand turn and follow the coastal road to Bouros, which runs parallel to all the east coast beaches of Karystos. The first beach that we see on our right, below the road, is called Tripiovrachos, some 3.7 km from Karystos.
The beach faces south and the rocky outcrops and cliffs that embrace it offer good shelter from the wind.
It is about 150 m long and is mainly sandy with some pebbles. The water is shallow and calm, suitable for families.
The seabed varies from sandy to rocky, which makes it suitable for snorkelling and amateur fishing.
The rocks rising at the west tip of the beach provide a special little nook sheltered from the sun and the north wind.
It is a beautiful quiet beach, quite close to Karystos, with lovely colours.
Access is possible from the east side of the beach via a steep path starting at the main road.
